just a quick question am finally going to bite the bullet this weekend, and wanted to know will i have to disconnect battery to reset everthing in the memory, or just swap them over, any help on this please

hi bit the bullett and replaced maf sensor today, went to local vw dealer and got one for 75+vat, very good service from parts department, could not do enough for me, anyway i still have the same problem as before but not as pronounced. any one got any ideas, as i am now lost
